The 33rd edition of the IEAEOR Symposium and Workshop will take place in beautiful, sunny Regina Saskatchewan August 26th to 30th, 2012.

The five days of activities kick off with a meeting on Sunday, August 26th of the Executive Committee for the IEAEOR Implementing agreement.  Only members of the Executive need attend.

The conference itself takes place at historic Government House on Monday August 27th and Tuesday the 28th, and is followed on the 29th by a special one-day workshop session on CO2-EORAttendance is limited to 75 people at the two day symposium August 27-28th, and to 100 at the August 29th workshop.

A final-day proposed field trip will be available on August 30th to SaskPower’s Boundary Dam Power Plant, which is undergoing construction of a carbon capture unit, and Cenovus Energy’s Weyburn field CO2 injection facility.

Participants may attend all three days or register just for the one-day workshop.  Any registration is eligible to request the field trip. Please indicate when you register if you would like to attend.  Only 40 people will be allowed on the field trip.

Events are also planned for visiting spouses and partners on Monday and Tuesday – museums/activities and lunches on both days.   Further details will be posted in May, but please indicate when you register if you plan to bring someone with you to the conference and if they would like to be included in the activities or conference dinners.
